WHAT HAPPENED?
The former Red Devils striker was drafted in to represent Girth N Turf – a team founded by Angry Ginge and Yung Filly – as they endeavour to climb the Pro Clubs ladder. They have called upon the services of YouTubers such as Behzinga and darts sensation Luke Littler in the past.

Rooney was the latest to showcase his EA FC talent, but it was his post-game comments that generated the biggest buzz. The 38-year-old delivered a crude message when bowing out of the live stream, leaving his hosts in fits of laughter.

Rooney said: “If yous want us back I'll be back." Angry Ginge responded by saying: “You can come back tomorrow, mate. Don't be sh*t again.” Rooney then caused mass hysteria as he quipped back with: “Ah, you ginger c***!”
