WHAT HAPPENED?
After opening his account in the K-League 1 last week with a penalty goal against Gangwon, the former Manchester United winger scored his first goal from open play as he netted the winner with a clinical header from Kang Seong-jin's cross in the 66thminute against Daejeon Hana.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
After moving to the Far East during the January transfer window, Lingard had struggled to find his feet in new surroundings. On top of that, he underwent knee surgery in March which kept him sidelined until the third week of May. The ex-England international, however, is gradually gaining confidence.
